Eighteen students were inducted into the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society during a ceremony on Saturday, February 17.
Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) was founded in 1922 by Dr. Frank G. Brooks and the Eta Sigma Chapter at 埃尔迈拉大学 was established in 1960 by Dr. 斯坦利·康沃尔. The goals of Tri-Beta are to promote scholarship in the biological sciences, to promote the dissemination of biological knowledge; and to encourage research.
The ceremony was led by the current officers: Nathan Romano '25 (Vice President), Isabella DeAmelia '24 (Secretary), Sophia Tarntino '25 (Treasurer), Noah Cabral '24 (Historian), and Kaela Howard '25 (Student Senate Representative). Sarah Wilke '24 (President) was absent.

Regular membership in Beta Beta Beta requires a minimum average GPA of 3.0 in 生物学 classes (minimum of three courses, at least one above 1000-level), a major in 生物学, 生物化学, or 临床检验科学, and an overall GPA of 3.0.
Students may become Associate members if they have an interest in biology and have completed one biology course during Term I or Term II.
